The daycare has closed and will not reopen until all staff and children are tested. Health officials say that the daycare does not pose an ongoing public health risk. The health department is continuing to collect and test samples for laboratory analysis, and officials have not confirmed a source of the E. coli. A 2-year-old boy whose older brother attended the daycare died on May 31 after falling ill with E. coli.
