Officials probe raisins link in UK E. coli outbreak

More than 35 people have fallen sick in an E. coli outbreak in the United Kingdom.

The Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) outbreak has had 36 cases across the UK since November 2023.

Allergen Alert: Peanuts in Snacks

Eillien’s Candies is recalling Yogurt Raisins, Granola Mix and Cinnamon Granola Mix because they may contain peanuts that aren’t listed on the ingredient labels.

Allergy Alert: Raisins Recalled for Sulfites

A New York company is recalling its 14 oz. packages of “Deer Raisin Golden” raisins because they contain undeclared sulfites. Consumers who have severe sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions.
