Raw Milk Campylobacter Outbreak Expands

An additional Campylobacter infection has brought the total number of illnesses to 77 in an outbreak linked to raw milk from Your Family Cow dairy in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported the additional illness Thursday, according to CIDRAP.

The outbreak began at the end of January. Since that time, at least 9 people have been hospitalized.

The new breakdown of illnesses by state is as follows:

Pennsylvania (67 illnesses), Maryland (5), West Virginia (3), New Jersey (2).
