Farm Rich Frozen Food Recall Expands to More Products

Farm Rich Products Corporation has expanded its recall of Farm Rich and Market Day brand products to now include all products made at its Waycross, Ga. plant with best-by dates ranging from January 1, 2013 to September 29, 2014 due to possible contamination of E. coli O121.  According to Farm Rich, the company is unaware of any illnesses associated with the products added to the expanded list, but the products are being recalled out of an abundance of caution.  The items involved in the original recall have been connected to at least 24 E. coli O121 illnesses in 15 states.  The items added to the list include both products sold to foodservice vendors and consumer brands.  The foodservice products are as follows:
