Trader Joe’s Unexpected Broccoli Cheddar Soup recalled over insects in product

Winter Gardens Quality Foods Inc., of  New Oxford, PA, is recalling Trader Joe’s Unexpected Broccoli Cheddar Soup (Sharp Cheddar Cheese & Unexpected Cheddar Cheese) because the product has insects in the frozen broccoli florets.

According to the details posted by the FDA, the recall was initiated on July 10 and is ongoing.

The product was distributed in Florida, Illinois, California, Texas, Washington, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

Recalled products:

Anyone who purchased the recalled product should immediately dispose of it and not consume it.
