Food Safety Director in Nashville, NC

This position will implement, manage and oversee all of the company’s food safety, traceability and quality assurance programs through documentation management, specification review, personnel training, and audits.

•  Create and maintain audit documents and procedures

•  Create and maintain company Quality Systems Manual

•  Manage Grower GAP, GlobalGAP, Primus, TESCO, Organic and all vendor audits

•  Provide and perform employee safety training and programs

•  Complete all grower certifications, farm audits and testing

•  Implement and monitor company produce traceability requirements

•  Attend relevant training programs

Background:

·  Agriculture and food safety experience a plus

·  Detail-oriented with Microsoft Office experience required

·  4 year college degree or higher

·  Bilingual a plus
