Hawaiian Bread recalled because of undeclared milk

Flowers Foods Inc. is recalling Nature’s Own Hawaiian Bread, 20-ounce and 40-ounce bags, because of undeclared milk. 

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk may run the risk of an allergic reaction or death if they consume this product.

The product being recalled was distributed to retail customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

The recall was initiated after the company discovered during a review of the production records that certain packages of Nature’s Own 20-ounce Hawaiian Bread and Nature’s Own two-pack Hawaiian Bread 40-ounce did not declare milk as an ingredient. No related illnesses or incidents have been reported to date.
