Ukrop's Homestyle Foods of Richmond, VA, is recalling 22,880 pounds of baked spaghetti and chicken cobbler products that may be contaminated with foreign material, specifically metal slivers, the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.

The baked spaghetti and chicken cobbler items were produced from July 1 through July 29. The following products are subject to recall:

These items were shipped to retail locations in North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, the Department of Defense and online sales.

The problem was discovered after the establishment received a consumer complaint regarding a metal piece found in a fully cooked product.

There have been no confirmed reports of injuries due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury should contact a healthcare provider.

FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers' refrigerators or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
