Doughnuts recalled after consumer has reaction to undeclared allergen

The Better Bakehouse Snack Company is recalling certain lots of Donutful Chocolate Dipped Vanilla Cake Donuts because the product may contain undeclared milk. 

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The problem was discovered after one allergic reaction was reported in connection with the recalled product. The individual has fully recovered. The contract manufacturer has identified the cause of the mislabeling issue and has taken corrective measures.

Recalled products can be identified as follows: Donutful Chocolate Dipped Vanilla Cake Donuts, 10 Mini Donuts, packaged in a 7.05 oz Carton Containing 5, 1.41 oz (40g) Pouches, with UPC 3 50041 39210 3; and Best If Used By Dates / Lot Codes: 9/15/2026 – Lot 26078.

The recall is limited to specific lots of product manufactured and distributed in March 2026. The product was distributed to retailers nationwide and through Amazon.com.

Consumers can dispose of the affected product and obtain a refund from their point of purchase with a receipt or return the product to their point of purchase for a refund.
