Reser’s Fine Foods Expands Recall of Products Potentially Contaminated With Listeria

Published:

Reser’s Fine Foods is again expanding its Oct. 22, 2013, recall of refrigerated ready-to-eat products because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recalled refrigerated ready-to-eat products were sold in retail and food-service establishments nationwide and in Canada. For a full list of recalled products, visit the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s recall page or Reser’s website.

The products were manufactured at the Topeka, KS, salad-manufacturing facility and will be marked with a Use-by-Date or Best By Date and followed by a plant identifier code of 20.

Food services such as Taylor Farms and Dutch Treat Salads have also issued secondary recalls of products containing Reser’s ingredients, prompting specific grocery stores, including Winn-Dixie, to announce their own recalls.

There are no confirmed illnesses associated with these products.
