Norovirus Takes Center Stage in UK

The Royal Society for Public Health is presenting a one-day conference on norovirus in November.

The conference, titled, “Norovirus:  An Ongoing Challenge,” will feature a keynote lecture from Dr. Jan Vinje of the Head National Calicivirus Laboratory at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as speeches by members of such organizations as the UK’s Health Protection Agency, and the Health Protection Surveillance Center, Ireland.

The meeting is designed to provide an update on issues surrounding Norovirus infection and outbreaks, and is designed for attendees in the health sector, environmental health, the cleaning products industry, cruise ship industry, and others working in infection control.
