Polls Taken as Cyclospora Cases Passed 20,000 Show U.S. Food Safety Confidence at Record Lows. European, British and Canadian Measures Are Flat or Rising.

As of July 31, the states' own published counts totaled more than 21,000 cases across all fifty states. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed 1,947 outbreak-associated cases and 98 hospitalizations in nine states.
