30 people report foodborne illness symptoms at Walmart distribution center
Published:

About 25 to 30 people reportedly fell ill and required care in Lebanon, TN, following an incident at a Walmart Distribution Center that is now under investigation.

The Wilson County Emergency Management Agency told Nexstar’s WKRN-TV that it was called to the distribution center late last week for “a female experiencing symptoms of a possible food-related illness.”

“Upon arrival, additional units were requested to assist. Approximately 25 to 30 patients were triaged on scene, with 19 patients transported,” the statement, shared Sunday, explained.

No additional details were immediately available, though authorities previously told WKRN that food poisoning was suspected.
