Si Ji Mei brand Wuhan Egg Sheets with Glutinous Rice are under recall in Canada because of potential contamination with Salmonella.
The recall was triggered by the company, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. The recalled product was distributed in Alberta and British Columbia.
Consumers can look for the following label information to determine whether they have the recalled product in their homes: UPC number 6 977013 950971 and code 2025/09/12.
As of the posting of the recall notice there had not been any confirmed reports of illnesses.
About Salmonella infections
