Impossible ground sausages recalled because of pieces of metal in the product

Impossible Foods Inc. or Redwood City, CA, is recalling Impossible Savory Ground Sausage Meat and Impossible Spicy Ground Sausage Meat because the products may contain pieces of metal.

According to the details published online by the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA), the recall was initiated on Nov. 15 and is ongoing.

The recalled product was distributed nationwide.

Recalled product:

Impossible Savory Ground Sausage Meat from plants 14oz chub, UPC 8 16697 02108 8; 8 retail chubs per case

Impossible Spicy Ground Sausage Meat from plants 14oz chub, UPC 8 16697 02109 5; 8 retail chubs per case

Retailers and consumers should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.
