Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is recalling various brands of sausage products because of nitrile glove pieces in the product.

According to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), recalled products were distributed nationally in Canada.

The brands of sausages in the recall include Co-op Centsibles, Schneiders, Mitchell’s, Olympic, Craft Meats, Burns and Carver’s Choice.

Recalled products:

Burns – Pizza Pepperoni 4×20 COV

Carver’s Choice – Sausage Snacks

Co-op Centsibles – Weiners

Mitchell’s – Salami

Mitchell’s – Cheddar Cheese Smoked Sausage

Salami

Smoked and/or Cooked Sausage

Smoked Sausage with Cheese and Bacon

Sausage Ends and Pieces

Olympic Craft Meats – Sausages – Canadian Chedder, Honey Garlic

Schneiders – Red Hots – Original

Schneiders – Pepperettes – Original

Schneiders – Smokies – Original Recipe

Schneiders – Smokies – Sharp Cheddar

Retailers and consumers should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products.
