Update:  According to Shearer’s Foods, LLC , 100% of the product from lot codes 122051## and 123051## with a Best By of May 23, 2022 was recovered at Walmart Distribution Centers in Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Wyoming. No product was distributed to the store level and therefore no product was purchased by consumers.

Great Value brand chips sold by Walmart stores are under recall because there may be metal pieces in the product.

According to a notice posted by the Food and Drug Administration the corn tortilla chips have a best-by date of May 23, so there is concern that consumers may have the product in their homes.
