Allergen Alert: Milk in Dark Chocolate

Café-Tasse S.A. is recalling 11 cases of its 1.58 oz. Café-Tasse Noir (Dark) Belgian chocolate bars with the best-before date of “15 SEPT 2013” because they may contain traces of milk, an allergen not listed on the package label.

No adverse reactions have been reported.

The recalled chocolate was distributed in VA, MA, WA and CA from January 2012 through mid-April 2012 and was sold in retail stores.

The recalled 1.58 oz. (45 gr.) bars have the bar code 54000219 505504 and the expiration date of 15-September 2013. Under the best-before date, there is also a lot code: L11303249.

The recall does not affect any other Café-Tasse chocolate bars or sizes.

The recalled chocolate bars may be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
