Allergen Alert: Cookies With Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning people with allergies to milk not to eat certain Red Square brand Real Deal Energy Cookies and Powerflax Energy Cookies – High Fiber because they contain milk, which is not listed on the ingredient label.

One allergic reaction has been reported.

The recall includes:

– Red Square brand Real Deal Energy Cookie – Oatmeal, Flax & Raisin, sold in a 650 g (8 bar) package with the UPC 7 75461 76104 2 and lot codes 35520.11 or 36120.11.

The cookies were distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

– Red Square brand Powerflax Energy Cookie – High Fiber, sold in a 650 g (8 bar) package bearing UPC 7 75461 76107 3 and lot code 35520.11.

The cookies were distributed through London Drugs stores in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
