No illnesses have been reported. Starwest Botanicals said it became aware of the potential contamination after being notified by a customer.

Earlier this month B & M Inc. of Mount Vernon, MO, recalled celery seed under the brand O Organics. The company also supplied seed to Swanson Health Products, which recalled the product sold under its label.

Starwest Organic Celery Seed (Whole) is sold online, by mail order or directly to customers by Starwest Botanicals. The product is packaged in 1-pound (lot number 40203) and 2-ounce (lot number F7073) Mylar pouches.
