Allergy Alert: Chocolate Cranberries May Contain Peanuts

Falcon Trading Company, Inc./SunRidge Farms of Pajaro, CA has recalled milk chocolate cranberries because they may contain peanuts.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recalled chocolate cranberries, which the company’s news release says may have become mixed with the company’s milk chocolate toffee peanuts.

Being recalled are:

– SunRidge Farms All Natural Milk Chocolate Cranberries in a 6.5 oz package. The 1,728 individual packages (144 cases) were manufactured Jan. 21, 2011. Item pack code 868051, UPC code 086700680513, lot code 0211176.

–SunRidge Farms All Natural Milk Chocolate Cranberries in a 10 lb. box (475 bulk cases) manufactured on Nov. 29, 2010. Item pack code 021315, UPC code 086700213155, lot code 3271003.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled chocolate cranberries may obtain a full refund from the retail store where they were purchased. Call Falcon Trading Company’s customer service at 1-831-786-7000 if you have questions.
