Creme Filling Recalled For Undeclared Ingredients

Allen Bavarian Crème Filling was recalled June 18 by Buffalo, NY-based Rich Products Corporation because pecans, milk, and coconut ingredients were undeclared.

The product code is 02881 and the production codes are 11870137F21, F-22, F-23, F-24, and F-25.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to these ingredients run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

Rich Products Corporation has not received any reports of illness connected with this product and  issued the recall voluntarily as a precautionary measure.

The pail size is 3.5 gallons. Pail weight is 31.0 lbs and the pail material is HDPE (High Density Polyethylene).

Allen Bavarian Crème Filling is not packaged for retail distribution and is sold to foodservice distributors and in-store bakeries nationwide. Rich’s has already notified all of its distributors and customers who have received the products in question and has directed them to remove and destroy the affected products.
