The number of individuals sickened in a Shigella outbreak in Upstate New York has risen from 45 – at last report – to 69, while the source of the bacteria remains unclear.
Last week health officials announcedthat they were investigating an ongoing Shigella outbreak in New York’s Onondaga County. Since that time, the victim count has risen from 25 to 34.
