CF Dallas LLC is recalling select fresh-cut products made from whole cantaloupe subject to a previously announced product recall initiated by Sofia Produce LLC dba Trufresh because of potential Salmonella contamination. Some of the CF products were sold under the RaceTrac brand name.

The patient count in an outbreak traced to cantaloupes has doubled and more recalls have been issued.
As of today, Nov. 24, 99 people have been confirmed infected with the outbreak strain of Salmonella Sundsvall. That is an increase of 56 since the initial outbreak notice was issued Nov. 17

Flying Food Group of Chicago is again recalling ready-to-eat food produced in its Lawrenceville, GA plant because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. This time the recall is of sandwiches that were distributed to RaceTrac gas stations in Georgia.
The company says no illnesses have been reported.
