The food safety system in Serbia is hindered by the number of agencies involved, a lack of resources, and ineffective punishments, according to a report.
The report from the Anti-Corruption Council outlined several significant shortcomings within the legal framework and food safety system. It is based on findings from 2022 to 2025, and findings were sent to the government.
