Many consumers are unaware that mycotoxins are not destroyed by heat, according to a German survey.
A poll conducted by the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) found fewer than half of respondents, 47 percent, knew that mycotoxins are not rendered harmless by high-heat treatment.
