Scottish survey finds risky burger habits

Nearly one in three consumers in Scotland have eaten beef burgers that are pink or have pink juices, according to a survey.

Food Standards Scotland (FSS) said results highlight potentially dangerous habits as barbecue season gets underway. The agency urged people to use a meat thermometer to check to make sure pork, poultry, and ground meats have reached 75 degrees C (167 degrees F).
