A complaint has been raised relating to the European Commission’s handling of planned legislation, claiming it could have consequences for food safety standards.

The Food and Feed Safety Omnibus package includes rules on pesticide residues, border controls on food imports, and adapted bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) surveillance.
