Danish company fined after dispute about Listeria findings

A food company in Denmark has been fined for not telling authorities about the detection of Listeria.

Agustson was fined DKK 80,000 ($12,400) by the Danish Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Agency. However, the business said there had been “no attempt whatsoever” to withhold information or act irresponsibly as the result was documented internally.
