A recent report on a Montana botulism case has been submitted to the Montana Supreme Court by Jeffrey P. Havens, who once had significant responsibility for Montana’s food safety.
Havens submitted the report on May 18 after obtaining it through an open records request from the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS). It confirms that a Cascade County case was “confirmed as a foodborne botulism case with an unknown food vehicle.”
