Dried longans recalled over undeclared sulfites

SLR Food Distribution, Inc. of Hicksville, NY, is recalling Dried Longans because it contains undeclared sulfites.

People who have a sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume this product.

According to details posted online by the FDA, the recall was initiated on Sept. 5, 2023, and is ongoing.

The recalled products were distributed in Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Anyone who purchased the recalled products should immediately dispose of it and not consume it.
