Taylor Farms Recalls Broccoli Salads for Listeria Risk

Published:

Taylor Farms has recalled more than 5,000 units of broccoli salad due to potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes. The packages may contain salad dressing that has tested positive for the bacteria.  The products are included in boxes labeled “Taylor Farms Broccoli Crunch with Bacon and Dressing,” with case codes 310151 or 310153. Production dates range from Oct. 21 to Oct. 23, and they bear the establishment number 34522 inside the USDA mark of inspection.  The products were sold at retail outlets in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Vermont.  This recall is related to a recall of more than 100,000 cases of ready-to-eat products from Reser’s Fine Foods, which may also contain salad dressing contaminated with Listeria.
