Following a recall of roasted and salted pistachios by ARO Pistachios of Terra Bella, California for potential Salmonella contamination, another California company that sold nuts from ARO is recalling the affected product. Torn & Glasser, Inc. of Los Angeles, CA issued a voluntary recall of its Pistachio’s Natural: Roasted and Salted Friday following ARO’s recall earlier in the week. Torn & Glasser sold the nuts under its own brand name as well as the labels of Hilo, Sun Harvest, and Sprouts. A table with detailed product information on the recalled pistachios is provided in the recall announcement, posted on FDA’s food recall website, and can be viewed below. Torn & Glasser says it has not received any complaints of illness linked to the recalled products to date.
