Germantown E. coli Outbreak Rises to 55 Cases

Another 19 people have been found sickened with E. coli in an outbreak linked to a customer appreciation picnic for a Germantown, Ohio business on July 3, bringing the total known ill to 55, including 10 hospitalizations.

Public health officials are continuing to investigate the possible cause of the outbreak, according to the Dayton & Montgomery County Health Department.
