WHO helps Vietnam treat serious botulism cases

The World Health Organization (WHO) has delivered five vials of botulism antitoxin to Vietnam to support three patients who are in a critical condition.

After receiving an alert from national authorities, the country office, regional office, and WHO headquarters identified available supplies from the global stockpile in Geneva and arranged transport to Vietnam.
