Review raises questions about Jersey’s draft food law

A review of a draft food law in Jersey has revealed “major uncertainty” about the proposed licensing system.

The Environment, Housing and Infrastructure Scrutiny Panel suggested two amendments. Rules were put forward by Steve Luce, Minister for the Environment, in December 2025. Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands, located between England and France.
