The European Commission has unveiled an artificial intelligence (AI) platform to help detect food fraud, contaminated food, and foodborne outbreaks.
The EU Commission said the tool will reinforce consumer safety and help national authorities work more effectively on the assessment, detection and response to food safety risks and fraudulent activity.
