Jeffrey P. Havens, who was once responsible for commercial food safety in Montana, is now before that state’s Supreme Court, asking it to reverse a District Court's dismissal of his claims and for public interest standing.
For the better part of a decade, Havens was a top food safety official at the Montana Department of Health and Human Services. He was recognized for his food safety expertise and was elected president of the Montana Environmental Health Association.
