Ukraine is creating an alert system for food similar to the European RASFF platform.
In November, an order came into force introducing requirements for the Rapid Notification System for threats related to human food and animal feed.
The system will allow the exchange of messages when dangerous food, feed, and materials in contact with food are detected. This will prompt action if products pose a danger to consumers and help prevent the spread of unsafe goods throughout the country.
