Josh Hauptman is a native of Washington D.C., and holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Miami. He is a recent graduate of Georgetown University with his M.S. in Biotechnology. There are many aspects of biotechnology, but he is especially interested in the use of biotechnology for food production and the laws and policies associated with its regulation, as well as the overall controversy that surrounds it. Josh is new to reporting but is very excited to make his contribution to Food Safety News.
