Trophy Nut Company of Tipp City, Ohio, is recalling 143 cases of Heinen’s 8.25 oz Honey Roasted Peanuts due to the possible presence of undeclared cashews, which could cause serious or life-threatening allergic reactions in individuals with cashew allergies.

The recall was triggered by a consumer complaint reporting an allergic reaction, revealing that some cans labeled as Honey Roasted Peanuts contained cashews. The issue stemmed from a temporary breakdown in the company’s production and packaging processes.

The recalled product was distributed to Heinen’s Grocery stores in Ohio and Illinois from Oct. 24, 2024, to April 4, 2025.

**Recalled product:**

Heinen’s 8.25 oz Honey Roasted Peanuts

- Packaged in 8.25 oz composite cans with lids
- Marked with “best if used by” dates of 10-01-2025 or 10-03-2025 on the bottom
- UPC 20601401877 on the label

One allergic reaction has been reported to date.

Consumers with cashew allergies are urged not to consume the product and to return it to any Heinen’s Grocery store for a full refund.
