Canadian authorities have ordered a recall of Habibi’s Mediterranean brand hummus because it contains peanuts, which are not declared on the label.

At least one person has had an allergic reaction to the product, according to a notice posted by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The recall was triggered by CFIA test results. The implicated hummus was distributed in Alberta and British Columbia and possibly other provinces and territories, according to the CFIA.

The recalled hummus is sold in 450-gram plastic tubs and is marked with the UCP number 6 83830 00911 7\. The hummus has an expiration date of June 17.
