# CPS announces 2022 Professional Development Program award recipients

The Center for Produce Safety has announced its 2022 Professional Development Program award recipients.

The goal of this program is to provide young professionals the opportunity to develop and improve engagement, gain insight, knowledge and career skills with the fresh produce safety community.

Registration is still open for the 2022 Center for Produce Safety Research Symposium. It is scheduled for June 21-22, at the Hyatt Regency at La Jolla, in San Diego, CA.

A full list of funded research through 2021 can be found [here](https://www.centerforproducesafety.org/funded-research-projects.php?ref=foodsafetynews.com). 2022 research grants will be announced at the symposium.

Registration options for May 1 – June 15 (prices raise after June 15):

- Industry — 700$
- Academia — 650$
- Government — 650$
