# Allergen Alert: Green Beans with Peanuts

Winn-Dixie Stores is recalling certain Winn-Dixie Brand Italian Green Beans that may be mixed with peanuts.

There have been no reports of adverse reactions, but individuals with an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat them.

Mary Kellmanson, Winn-Dixie’s group vice president of marketing, said the company is investigating the cause of the peanut contamination in order to prevent future incidents.

The recalled Italian Green Beans are in a 14.5 oz can with a UPC code of 2114021236 and a best-by date of Sept. 2014.
