Baugher’s Orchard and Farm of Westminster, MD. has issued a voluntary recall of all its apple cider because of possible contamination.

The unpasteurized cider is being investigated by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a possible source of seven E. coli O157:H7 infections. Three of the people sickened in the outbreak have been hospitalized.

Health officials say there is a potential connection between consumption of the cider and the illnesses.

Consumers who have Baugher’s apple cider are advised to dispose of it.
