Food Safety News recently reported that those recalled products were only distributed to Ontario and Quebec, but the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA’s) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has since announced a recall that affects ham distributed to the U.S.

Associated Grocers in Gardiner, Maine is recalling 312 pounds of ham, which was distributed to retail establishments in Maine and New Hampshire.

Recalled products are labeled with establishment number “141” and have a sell by date of “10JA24.” FSIS lists 16-ounce packages of Super Trim, Shurfine Imported, Cooked Ham as the only product subject to recall.

According to FSIS, the problem was discovered by CFIA. CFIA notified FSIS after it learned that some of the products had been exported to the U.S.

There have been no reported illnesses linked to the recall.
