LISTEX™ is a culture of safe, natural and organic bacteriophages, characterized by its broad spectrum attack against Listeria monocytogenes strains. It is used as a processing aid against only Listeria, during the production of meatcheesefish, vegetables, fruit and other food products. It was the first phage product to be recognized as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) by the Food & Drug Administration and US Department of Agriculture.

Another Micreos product, SALMONELEX™ is an effective bacteriophage used against pathogenic strains of Salmonella. Approved by the FDA and USDA as a “GRAS” food processing aid in 2013, it’s currently in trials at several major poultry plants in the U.S. More information on SALMONELEX™ and LISTEX™ is available upon request at info@micreos.com.
