Association for Professionals in Infection Control & Epidemiology Annual Conference

The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) is a nonprofit professional association comprised of more than 11,000 members whose responsibility is the prevention and control of infections and related adverse outcomes in patients and healthcare workers. APIC promotes wellness and prevents illness and infection worldwide by advancing healthcare epidemiology through education, research, collaboration, practice guidance, and credentialing.

APIC's 2009 Annual Conference brings together ICPs from a diverse group of healthcare professionals including nurses, epidemiologists, microbiologists, clinical pathologists, laboratory technologists, dentists, physicians, as well as public health practitioners in the acute, long-term, behavioral health, EMS, and ambulatory care facilities across the United States and worldwide.
